Community Report - Week 62

Published: 13.10.2024

Another week is over and it's time to summarize the results, but before I do, I want to thank each and every one of you who participate in the Community and help all of us in promoting mobile apps. To be honest, the task is very difficult given the current rules and restrictions imposed by big companies like Google and Apple. But I believe that it is much better to do something than to do nothing. So today, like yesterday, I'm starting the day by completing tasks https://friendlyhelp.club/account/new-task to contribute to our common cause. I hope you'll install a couple apps today too))

Statistics. This week we had 15 new users join us and 15 new apps were added. We were able to complete a total of 247 tasks, of which 157 were "Installation" tasks.

Congratulations. This is my favorite part of the report. I would like to congratulate users: Frank Koenig, INNOCENT MUHAVI, Paranoid EXP for getting the first achievement "+10 Installs" to promote your own apps in Google Play and App Store - your reward (temporary Booster is already activated) and wish you to continue at the same pace. And remember that everyone can improve their own performance and get even more Installations and Reviews, for this you need to fulfill a few conditions: your "Promotion Period" and coin Balance must be greater than 0. This can be achieved in different ways, for example, by doing tasks for other users or by subscribing to one of the paid tariffs or buying coins one time.

New version development. This week I started creating a wireframe for a future project, and this task turned out to be much more difficult than before. Perhaps it's because I'm using a new framework and constantly encountering unknown situations that slow down the overall development process. Now I am focusing on dividing the service into isolated islands, something like microservices, but closer to a modular system. This is due to the fact that the service is getting bigger and it becomes more and more difficult to implement new functionality, it is very difficult to track the influence of some parts of the code on others, and searching "why it works this way and not the other way" takes a lot of time. So I decided it's time to move to a new level of project architecture. Next week I'll start building a new admin panel and profile edit page with a new "Sessions" component so you can see from such devices and when your account has been logged in, and do a "logout" if necessary. I saw this in the Jetstream project and found it to be a pretty useful functionality.

In conclusion. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't, but I don't get frustrated and keep trying. I know that the current version of the service is far from ideal and has many problems, but you have to agree that even in this case the Community continues to be useful and help you, even if not as much as we all wanted. But all this can disappear and we will never know what the Community could have become, because it will close because of your lack of activity, and to prevent this from happening, find some free time and check the availability of your applications on our network https://friendlyhelp.club/account/application, check the terms of your tasks and increase the rewards https://friendlyhelp.club/account/task, check the reports and determine why some tasks are "skipped" https://friendlyhelp.club/account/report-skip, do some tasks for other users https://friendlyhelp.club/account/new-task to attract them to help you. And if there will be more active users than "lazy" ones, we are guaranteed to see new and better versions of the service, which means we will start getting more Installs and Reviews for our apps.

All the best and see you in a week))
