Today is my birthday. But it’s not so much a reason to celebrate as it is a moment to reflect.
This past year has been the hardest of my life. I’ve lost a lot — my apartment, my job, my city — wiped off the map, leaving behind only ruins and memories. I’ve lost friends, acquaintances, neighbors. But one thing remains: our Community. It’s still here. It’s still alive. And it’s still working.
I built this project from scratch and put my heart into it. But now, it’s time for a new chapter — and a new leader. I know I’m not the one to take it forward. I’m a programmer, I love what I do — but I lack the management skills, the strategic mindset, and the confidence to make bold decisions. What this Community needs now is someone who can not just maintain it, but lead and grow it.
With new leadership, the project will likely evolve — and that’s a good thing. Maybe there will be new features, monetization, partnerships. These are steps forward. I won’t stand in the way — in fact, I’ll help. I’m ready to rewrite the code, adapt the system to new goals, and hand over everything — the codebase, domains, databases — everything needed to move ahead.
I’m reaching out to you — the people who make this Community what it is. Among you are those with the talent, energy, and sense of direction to lead it into the future.
If you feel ready — please reach out to me.
I truly am looking for a new leader. Someone who can take this project into their hands and move it forward.
The Community is alive. And I believe its best days are still ahead.
Make them yours.
